Didn’t connect on your first dial? Do you wind up dialing over and over again? Not any more, not when you’re a Vonage customer. Vonage’s Repeat Dialing calls you back when the number you're trying is no longer busy.
With Vonage you won’t have to dial more than once if you don’t want to!
What is Repeat Dialing?
You can continue to use your Vonage phone after activating Repeat Dialing. Repeat Dialing will connect your call when both you and the person you were trying to reach are available.
When activated, Vonage Repeat Dialing will continue to redial a busy number and alert the customer when the call has gone through. This call back feature will last for 30 minutes.
How to Use To use Repeat Dialing for all adapters except the Linksys PAP2 and RT31P2:
- Dial #5 after dialing a number that rings busy.
- Hang up once you hear the beep.Once the phone line is free, your phone will ring a unique tone to inform you that the once busy phone line is now free.
You may continue to use your Vonage line until the call back is connected. Vonage will connect the call when both lines are free. This call back feature will last for 30 minutes.
How to use Repeat Dialing with your Linksys PAP2 or RT31P2:
- Hang up once you hear the busy signal.
- Pick up the phone again and dial #5. Hang up. Once the phone line is free, your phone will alert you that the once busy phone line is now free.
You may continue to use your Vonage line until the call back is connected. Vonage will connect the call when both lines are free. This call back feature will last for 30 minutes.
How to use Repeat Dialing with your UTStarcom F1000 WiFi:
- After you dial a busy number, the phone will display "Repeat?" to ask if you want to automatically redial this number. Press the left soft key (OK). The phone will make automatic redial attempts every two minutes.
- When the number becomes available, the phone will sound a special ring tone. Wait for your party to answer the call.
Can I still make a call if I have Repeat Dialing on?
Yes. You can continue to use your Vonage number until your call back is connected. Vonage will connect your call when both you and your party are available. If you are on a call when your call back is connected, you will be notified via
Call Waiting.
