Move Your Number Basics

Vonage lets you Move Your Number to another phone adapter on your account at any time.
We’ll get you moving after a few simple steps.

How do I use Move Your Number?

  1. Log in to your Vonage Online Account.
  2. Click the Add-ons tab on your Dashboard, Click Move A Number.
  3. Choose the number to move and click Continue.
    Note: Move Your Number cannot be used with SoftPhone numbers.
  4. Choose which adapter and port to use for the number move. If you have only one available adapter or phone port, it will be automatically selected. Click Continue.
  5. Confirm your selections and click Submit. To make changes, click Edit.
The number move will complete once your phone adapter is not in use. Your 911 address information for this phone number will not change. You can update your 911 information in your Vonage Online Account.
