Online Account Activity Basics

Vonage Online Account puts everything under your control - in real time. You manage the wide array of Vonage features, calling plans and add-ons so that they're just right. Add new numbers and lines as you need them. Check call activity, view and change billing information; manage your voicemail and much more. You're the driver.

What is Call Activity?

Call activity displays all placed and received calls to your telephone number over the past seven days. If you are a business customer and have multiple telephone numbers, you will see a combination of calls from all of your telephone numbers from the past seven (7) days.

What are Received Calls?

Received calls are incoming calls answered by you or your voice mail. In your Vonage Online Account you can view the last ten (10) calls received by your phone number. If you are a business customer and have more than one telephone number, you will see the last ten (10) calls received by all of your numbers.

What are Placed Calls?

Placed calls are outbound calls made from your telephone number(s) that have connected to your party. In your Vonage Online Account you can view a list of the last ten (10) placed calls. If you are a business customer and have more than one telephone, the list contains the last ten (10) calls made from all of your telephone numbers.

Why is one of my Outbound Calls listed as two separate transactions?

An outbound call that is listed as two separate transactions occurs when the in-plan minutes are exceeded during the call. Any call that is partially in-plan and partially overage minutes will be listed as two separate transactions.

What happens if I change my time zone?

The time zone you select in your Vonage Online Account will determine how the time will be displayed for your call activity, billing detail and voicemail messages.

What is a Transaction ID?

A transaction ID is an identification number. Each call is assigned its own transaction ID. It can be found on the Itemized Call Details page and is the last column of each call detail table on the page.
